About Home Study Tests
Assessment Reviewers are ACRP volunteers who validate the content and style of the Home Study Test questions that are published in every issue of Clinical Researcher. Volunteers will be responsible for reading the selected articles and assessing the validity of the substantive content of the questions as written by the article authors and ensuring that the questions meet the appropriate criteria for valid question writing.
Volunteers are expected to review 30 questions twice a year (two issues each); complete the work according to the guidelines; and submit completed work to the appropriate ACRP contact. Assessment Reviewers will earn four continuing involvement points per year of service based on the work delivered and may take the Home Study Tests only for the other four issues that he/she did not review.
Interested volunteers must meet the following requirements:
- Active member of ACRP or APCR and/or certified by the Academy
- An aptitude for Professional Development
- Clinical research experience
- Item writing knowledge for assessment of the validity of questions
