Communication Strategies for Conflict Resolution in Clinical Research Teams

The recorded webinar examines group dynamics, team function, and how conflicts arise within the research team, while also examining how specific communication behaviors can foster effective conflict resolution that facilitates team growth.

Innovative clinical research is dependent on multi-disciplinary research teams to envision, design, and implement complex research protocols. The varied backgrounds and approaches of team members can cause conflict within a team, especially when team members have trouble communicating with each other. Conflicts can cause more than frustrations; they can be a serious detriment to team function if they are not handled in an effective way. But conflicts do not have to be harmful to the life of your clinical research team. If handled well, conflicts can be an opportunity for growth.

Upon completion of this continuing education program, participants should be able to:

  • Obtain an understanding of the different roles within the clinical research industry
  • Identify areas of career growth and development
  • Understand what the future of these roles may be and how you can prepare
