Continuing Involvement is a way of making sure that CPIs are still involved in clinical research in a meaningful way. Continuing Involvement is participation in a capacity other than learning. The certificant can be attending a meeting, serving/volunteering, presenting information, or providing oversight. Continuing Involvement activities are:
CPIs MUST submit at least 12 points from the Continuing Involvement Activities list below. CI activities must be listed online through the “My Contact Hours” Quicklink.
Other activities may be approved on a case-by-case basis by the Academy Board. Presentations and articles must be in clinical research-related topics in order to be considered for points.
