Advancing Awareness in Clinical Research AwardThe Advancing Awareness in Clinical Research Award Recognizes an individual that has contributed to the public’s understanding of clinical research, and to the advancement of the profession.

Nomination Criteria

  • Nomination must demonstrate a project or activity undertaken by the nominee that intended to increase understanding of the role clinical research has in healthcare, and served to increase the public’s awareness and involvement in clinical research
  • Preference is given to ACRP members in good standing
  • Nominee may reside in any geographic location
  • The nominator provides:
    • Short biographical sketch of the nominee (100 words or less)
    • Why individual is being nominated (250 words or less) including how the project/activity was undertaken, outcomes/results, and discussion of unique aspects and contribution of the project/activity
    • Letter(s) of support from participants or others who are aware of the project/activity and its impact
    • Samples of any materials (e.g. program announcements, agendas). Please identify any proprietary material.
    • Nominee’s resume or CV summarizing clinical research positions, organizational affiliations and dates of service
