Forum membership is a benefit of ACRP membership and you may join as many as you are interested in. Forums are designed to serve ACRP members in specialty areas who are seeking professional interaction, ways to network effectively, and access to continuing education and as such provide an important membership benefit. There are currently 12 Forums representing both career classifications as well as specific industry segments.
Your forum membership will provide you with in-depth information in your specialty area and the opportunity to network with others who share your interests. You'll also have the opportunity to participate in a wide-variety of activities helping to shape ACRP programs. These activities include: planning sessions for the annual meeting and special interest seminars, creating newsletters, preparing article(s) or a column for The Monitor, conducting surveys of members' development and professional needs, electronic information exchanges, and writing monographs and position papers. With the introduction of the Online Community within the Members Only site, ACRP can better facilitate information sharing and member interaction.

Looking for a good way to connect with other ACRP members in your specialty? Each of our specialty Forums now has an interactive online Forum Listserve. These listserves provide our forum members with a useful tool to share tools and ideas, get information, and ask questions on important issues. Along with receiving emailed questions or discussion topics, our listserves have an archive database to search through previous discussions treads.
Have a question that you aren’t sure your forum can answer? Send your question to the listserve or your Forum Chair, their contact information can be found on their Forum Website. They will send your question on to the other specialty Forum Chairs and provide you with an answer or two.
The listserves are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For more information, e-mail listadmin@acrpnet.org.
