Trainers

Eileen H. Caramanica

Eileen H. Caramanica, BA, MS, RN, CCRA, is an Interim Associate Director for Global Training providing clinical training services for a major pharma company.  In the past, Eileen has been a clinical project manager conducting obesity and cardiovascular drug/device trials with over 16 years in the field.  In addition to the extensive experience in clinical training, Eileen was a CRA Exam Committee member for over 10 years.

Lily T. Romero, PA, CCRC, has more than 30 years experience in clinical research.  Her experience includes positions as Director of Global Development Training at Elan Pharmaceuticals, Associate Director, Clinical Operations with Quintiles, Inc., and a Clinical Research Coordinator and Research Administrator at the Allergy & Asthma Medical Group and Research, A P.C. in San Diego, CA.  She has worked in Phase I - IV clinical trials including pediatric studies.  She is on the advisory board and an instructor for the Clinical Trials Design and Management certificate program at the University of California, San Diego Extension program.  Currently, she is a member of the European Certification Committee for Clinical Trial Investigators and the European Certification Committee for Clinical Research Coordinators for ACRP.

Continuing Pharmacy Education

The Association of Clinical Research Professionals is accredited by the Accreditation Council on Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. ACPE Universal Program Number 234-000-08-105-L04-P has been assigned to this program. This program provides 3.0 contact hours of continuing education credit. A statement of credit will be available upon completion of the workshop. Each participant must submit a completed evaluation form at the end of the program to receive a Continuing Education Statement of credit. Partial credit will not be awarded. Continuing Nursing Education

The California Board of Registered Nursing approves the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) as a provider of continuing nursing education. This workshop provides 3.0 contact hours of continuing nursing education credit (Program Number 11147-2008-ACE-105).
