Todd Almarez, BS, CCRC is currently a CRA II at MedTrials, Inc.  He holds a BS in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University and has over 6 years of experience in the clinical research industry. Mr. Almarez has experience in several therapeutic areas, including oncology and cardiology.  His clinical research experience includes roles as a Clinical Research Associate in pediatric oncology trials for which his responsibilities included patient care, eligibility screening, IRB submission and CRF completion.

Donova Miles, BA, LPN, CCRC, CCRA, is currently a Project Manager with MedTrials, Inc.  She holds a BA in Sociology from the University of North Texas.  She is a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) and a Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP).  Ms. Miles has over 10 years of clinical research experience, which includes coordinating, monitoring and project management for pharmaceutical and medical device trials.  She also has over 15 years of nursing background and has been the site director for a Site Management Organization.  She is a current member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.

Robin W. Newman, RN, MSN, CPNP, RAC, CCRA, is co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of MedTrials, Inc. She provides senior-level consulting in regulatory strategy, clinical trial design and execution, and medical writing. Robin holds a BSN from the University of Texas at Austin and an MSN from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is a Registered Nurse, a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, a Certified Clinical Research Associate and is Regulatory Affairs Certified. Ms. Newman also has extensive clinical site experience and has worked as an independent contractor. Her areas of specialization are medical devices, cardiology, pediatrics and surgery. She has held previous positions as a Research Nurse, Senior Research Associate and Consultant. Robin's accomplishments include: Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Association of Clinical Research Professionals, Fellow for the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Associates and Practitioners, and Adjunct Faculty for the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of North Texas Health Science Center.

Barbara Richardson, RN, MSN, RAC, is the Vice-President of Compliance & Regulatory Affairs of MedTrials, Inc.  She holds a BSN and a MSN from the University of Texas at Arlington.  Ms. Richardson is an expert in clinical trial management and has held previous positions as Manager of Clinical Operations, Manager of Coordinating Services and Director of Research Nursing.  She is a Registered Nurse and Adjunct Faculty for the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of North Texas Health Science Center and Adjunct Faculty for The University of Texas at Arlington School of Nursing.  Ms. Richardson has diverse therapeutic expertise with specialization in oncology, project management and investigational site management.

Deborah Rosenbaum, CCRA, CCRC, CCRT, is lead consultant for Sarrison, Inc. She has more than 20 years' experience in research, and her experience includes conducting preclinical research, serving as a clinical research scientist in the pharmaceutical industry, and serving as a clinical research coordinator. Ms. Rosenbaum is the author of several books on clinical research which are designed as hands-on resources for clinical research coordinators, investigators and sponsor representatives.

Cynthia M. Sinsel, BS, CCRA, is a Project Manager at MedTrials, Inc. She holds a BS in Biology from Idaho State University and maintains CCRA certification through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals. Cynthia has more than ten years experience in regulatory compliance, clinical trial design, QA/QC auditing, training, trial execution and oversight both domestic and international. Her clinical specialties include cardiovascular device, biocompatibility and oncology. Cynthia's roles have included consulting, monitoring, auditing and managing. In addition, she devotes her time in counseling patients undergoing oncology-related therapies.

Lynn D. Van Dermark, RN, BSN, MBA, CCRA, RAC, is co-founder and CEO of MedTrials, Inc.  In addition to her management responsibilities, she currently provides training and senior-level consulting in regulatory strategy, clinical trial management, medical writing, SOP development, safety surveillance and quality assurance.  Ms. Van Dermark holds a B.S. in Nursing from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from Baylor University.  As a nurse, Ms. Van Dermark advanced through the ranks into Ambulatory Care management prior to beginning her career in clinical research at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center where she started as a senior research nurse in trauma and critical care.  Since that time, she has functioned in numerous roles throughout the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device product development industry.   She is a well-known and dynamic speaker to industry and an entrepreneur.   Ms. Van Dermark is a Registered Nurse and maintains certification as a Clinical Research Associate through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and is regulatory affairs certified (RAC) through the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS). Ms. Van Dermark serves as Adjunct Faculty for the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas as well as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.  She also serves on the ACRP Global Education Committee, is lead Faculty for the ACRP, and was a charter member and past president of the North Texas Chapter of the ACRP.  Ms. Van Dermark is currently on the Nursing Advisory Board for the University of Virginia School of Nursing.

Sandra York-Hamilton, RN, CCRC, is currently the Senior Training Consultant at MedTrials, Inc. She holds an RN from El Centro College in Dallas and has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Ms. York-Hamilton has experience in several therapeutic areas, including oncology, medical/surgical and pediatrics. Her clinical research experience includes roles as a research nurse coordinator, data coordinator manager, monitor and clinical nurse manager. Ms. York-Hamilton has previous experience as a Research Consultant at MedTrials and has presented courses for ACRP in the subject of Fundamentals of Clinical Research. She is a current member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
