Peter Motteram originally trained in biochemistry at the Universities of Birmingham and London and has worked in the pharmaceutical and contract research industries for 16 years. After working in a London teaching hospital, he started his pharmaceutical work at Sterling Research Group as GCP Quality Assurance auditor. He subsequently held senior positions with Quintiles and ClinTrials Research in Quality Assurance, Business Development and as General Manager. Since 1997 he has worked as a consultant on projects including process and GCP auditing, CRO acquisition, business development and general management. Latterly, he has acted as interim Chief Executive for a privately owned CRO. He is a founding partner of Opttimus Consulting.
