This webinar will cover the cost-effective and efficient use of various types of media in patient recruitment. Understanding the importance of negotiating media buys from local providers and knowing what media works best in your local area are valuable skills. Each site has a database of subjects. This presentation will cover how best to approach that database and how to keep track of the response rates for each type of media used. We’ll also cover
- What free advertising is and how to work with that media
- What types of ads work best
- How to compose a radio and newspaper advertisement
- How to know when your advertisement contains “too much" information and what to do about it
- How size matters for print media
Teaching tools will include handouts, examples of good negotiations, and a live Q&A session.
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Negotiate advertising budgets with the sponsors and the local media
- Spend wisely and get results, without getting "ripped off"
- Keep track of the results and enroll subjects more quickly due to good media buys

Become a Chapter Member
ACRP National recognizes the immense amount of work and dedication local volunteers put into making Chapters operate. In an effort to simplify local Chapter dues collection and membership tracking, ACRP National has created a system to move these processes in-house at the ACRP Global Headquarters. ACRP National produces invoices for membership dues for all members on a regular cycle based on membership expiration dates. These invoices are generated three months prior, month of, one month after, and final notice two months after national membership expiration date.
On these invoices, ACRP National has added a line item called "Local Chapter Dues" for those affiliated with a local chapter. This line item will have the name of the local chapter along with that local chapter renewal rate (which will match your national dues renewal date). Upon return with payment, ACRP National will update the individual record with new national/local membership expirations dates for both areas of the database.
To join the Tulsa Chapter, please log-in to the Members Only site and select "Join Chapter." Chapter dues are $20 annually.
We look forward to seeing you at our Chapter meetings and hope that you will consider becoming more involved in the Chapter at some point by running for a Chapter Officer position.
