OR - Portland

The Portland, Oregon chapter covers all of Oregon and South West Washington.

The Portland Oregon Chapter plans to meet quarterly. Two educational meetings with continuing education credits available; and two networking meetings each year.  The next meeting will be organized soon. To help in planning any of the events please contact Lindsay Severson at lindsay.severson@comcast.net.

Chapter Dues are $25 per year to help put on the events for everyone.  You can join the chapter by logging into the ACRP website and click join a chapter.

New Ethical Guidelines for Conducting Pediatric Research

Jeri Burr, MS, RN-BC, CCRC works for the Collaborative Pediatric Critical Care Research Network as Program Director of the Data Coordinating Center (DCC) at the Intermountain Injury Control Research Center (IICRC) in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse with a Master's of Science degree from Drexel University in Clinical Research Organization & Management and a Bachelor's degree in Family Health from Brigham Young University.

Guidelines for Effective and Appropriate Pediatric Assent and Parental Permission

Elizabeth Jay, RN, MA, CCRA, is a Clinical Manager at Premier Research. Ms. Jay has extensive knowledge of the clinical trials process with experience gained over 12 years in the industry within research site, pharmaceutical, and CRO environments and nearly nine years as a staff nurse in adult and pediatric intensive care units.
Kathryn Bohannon, BA, is a Senior Director, Clinical Trial Management at Premier Research. Ms. Bohannon has over 14 years experience within the pharmaceutical industry. She has provided project management expertise including oversight for 18 pediatric studies spanning multiple therapeutic areas and challenging environments including ten studies conducted by Premier Research as the BPCA Coordinating Center.
