About the New England Chapter
Welcome to the New England Chapter of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP). We proudly serve Massachusetts and the surrounding states to provide up-to-date information, continuing education credits, and networking for the research community. We are a comprehensive organization of clinical research professionals from a variety of backgrounds.
As a chapter of the ACRP, the mission of this organization shall be to provide a readily accessible mechanism for regional program development for clinical research professionals to foster professional interaction, continuing education, problem solving, and discussion of professional issues.

NEIRB – New England Institutional Review Board
President: We need an energetic and organized individual to lead the chapter. We have a lot of motivated members who want to be involved and we simply need that voice to organize and focus us. Training and resources are available to help. If you have questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or contact a chapter officer for more information.
Education Committee: We need a handful of volunteers to help plan and execute our chapter’s educational events. These events are the foundation of our chapter. Come join us to create some memorable programs. We already have some ideas. Contact Susan Flint at email@example.com.
Social Chair: Are you good at planning a get-together? We need a lively and fun volunteer to organize 2 or 3 networking meetings this coming year. It’s as easy as finding a venue and ordering some food.
Symposium Chair and Planning Committee Members: We have organized full-day educational symposiums for the past 13 consecutive years. Don’t let us miss the 14th year. We need your organizational abilities to drive this coming year’s symposium. Not ready for the lead role? We need hands and creative brain power to support the Symposium Chair. The Symposium is our most popular event of the year. Planning and making it happen is one of the best experiences. Come join the fun!
The NEC leadership will meet this March to plan our 2013 schedule. If anyone has any programming/meeting suggestions, please contact Susan Flint at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Joining and Renewing Chapter Membership
ACRP National recognizes the immense amount of work and dedication local volunteers put into making Chapters operate. In an effort to simplify local Chapter dues collection and membership tracking, ACRP National has created a system to move these processes in-house at the ACRP Global Headquarters. ACRP National produces invoices for membership dues for all members on a regular cycle based on membership expiration dates. These invoices are generated three months prior, month of, one month after, and final notice two months after national membership expiration date.
On these invoices, ACRP National has added a line item called "Local Chapter Dues" for those affiliated with a local chapter. This line item will have the name of the local chapter along with that local chapter renewal rate (which will match your national dues renewal date). Upon return with payment, ACRP National will update the individual record with new national/local membership expirations dates for both areas of the database.
To join the NE Chapter, please click the "JOIN THIS CHAPTER" button above and select the New Englad Chapter.
We look forward to seeing you at our Chapter meetings and hope that you will consider becoming more involved in the Chapter at some point by running for a Chapter Officer position.
