Objectives:
At the end of this workshop, participants should understand:
- The importance of a quality clinical plan
- How to improve efficiency of monitoring visits
- How to develop and implement site specific approaches for corrective action of non-compliance

Local Chapter Dues Collection by ACRP National
ACRP National recognizes the immense amount of work and dedication local volunteers put into making Chapters operate. In an effort to simplify local Chapter dues collection and membership tracking, ACRP National has created a system to move these processes in-house at the ACRP Global Headquarters. ACRP National plans to produce invoices for membership dues for all members on a regular cycle based on membership expiration dates. These invoices are generated 60 days prior, one month prior, on the day of expiration and a notice of your membership termination 15 days after your expiration date. Please help ACRP avoid wasting money on multiple invoices—pay the first one!
On these invoices, ACRP National will also add a new line item called "Local Chapter Dues" for those affiliated with a local chapter. This new line item will have the name of the local chapter along with that local chapter renewal rate. Upon return with payment, ACRP National will update the individual record with new national/local membership expirations dates for both areas of the database.

A new rule will be coming into effect that will require all Contact hours be credited only for meetings and conferences that are based strictly on research-related topics.
This new rule is expected to go into effect in the next year. The San Diego ACRP chapter is working hard for you to ensure that all of our meeting topics are strictly research-related so that you may earn your Contact hours. Please bring a friend to one of our meetings and help them earn Contact hours along with you.
