Greater Philadelphia

The Greater Philadelphia Chapter of ACRP (affectionately known as ACRP Philly) has the distinction of being one of the first groups to organize at a local level. ACRP Philly has offered networking and continuing education opportunities to thousands of clinical research professionals throughout the Philadelphia area. What started as a wine and cheese gathering for a handful of professionals all those years ago has blossomed into a vibrant and active community with regular networking and educational offerings. Our meetings generally offer continuing education credits, important for maintaining ACRP certification.

The Greater Philadelphia Chapter was a very proud recipient of the Outstanding Chapter Award for 2010 and we hope to have continued success in 2011. We have a great team with several returning members as well as a couple new faces eager to contribute. Our Chapter has an exciting a year of events designed to inform and inspire. The 2011 agenda expands upon last year’s highly successful series to bring you all-new educational and networking opportunities, each addressing important industry specific topics. In an effort to maintain our aggressive membership growth, we would like to extend our special offer presented to all new members. All non-members who sign up to become a member of ACRP Greater Philadelphia Chapter and provide proof of membership (a screen print will do) will receive a free pass (a $40 value) to attend the next continuing education meeting.

The ACRP Greater Philadelphia Chapter will offer high quality, convenient and affordable educational offerings and networking opportunities throughout the Philadelphia area in 2011. The Chapter dinner meetings will rotate throughout the region to provide better, local access to our Chapter members. Dinner meeting fees for 2011 will be consistent with our 2010 fees (Chapter members pay $20, non-members pay $40 per meeting) and we will continue our special offer to new members as mentioned above – all new Chapter members will receive a free pass to attend their first dinner meeting.
In addition to our regular dinner meetings, we look forward to hosting our 3rd Annual Conference on May 12-13 in Philadelphia, PA. The theme of this year’s conference is “Future Horizons in Clinical Research” and we are very excited with the diverse and reputable speakers we have lined up.

The evaluation will be available to complete starting December 16th-January 16th also complete your evaluation in your "My Tests, Evaluations and Certificates" section of the ACRP website to receive these contact hours. Contact hours will be available for purchase through January 6th, 2012
