The purpose of this program is to provide information that will assist in creating efficient budgeting/billing tools, and study documents that are compliant with the Medicare clinical research billing rules.

Program Objectives:

  1. Identify Medicare rules for clinical research billing
  2. Describe Medicare approval and billing requirements
  3. Examine how to conduct a Medicare Coverage Analysis (MCA) through review of a hypothetical study
  4. Demonstrate techniques to use the MCA for budgeting, billing, and creating study documents to achieve compliance
