Program Objectives: This session will focus on identifying emerging regulatory and legal risks in clinical research, with a particular emphasis on the current risk climate as it may be expected to have an impact on individual sites and investigators. Through interactive case studies, participants will develop skills to recognize, identify and minimize these risks.

Upon completion of this program, participant should be able to: identify emerging compliance issues and liability trends in clinical studies as related to researchers; have a raised awareness of these issues through interactive, practical application exercises; and be in possession of practical tips to minimize risks.

Target Audience: This program is intended for investigators, staff and coordinators, site personnel and ancillary service providers engaged in the conduct of sponsored research.
