ACRP is currently seeking candidates to fill the following positions:

Senior Trainer

Be a part of a progressive, team oriented Association in the heart of Old Town Alexandria.

ACRP is currently in search of a professional, articulate and well-educated applicant to fill the role of Senior Trainer who can “hit the ground running”   Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong organization and project management skills are essential.

The incumbent will need to be a platform trainer and also able to engage into ACRP’s various education and training activities which take place in association with many of its constituent groups.  ACRP’s education and training is for core, manager and executive levels staff on subjects related to clinical research and pharmaceutical medicine.

This position will be responsible for supporting ACRP’s vision of education by:

  • Delivering platform clinical research training
  • Coordinating the design and development of new and innovative training programs and the revision of current ones either in-house or outsourced
  • Assisting in developing the education component of the Annual Global Conference
  • Forming working relationships with key opinion leaders and national regulatory agencies
  • Advising ACRP staff e.g. publications’ editors on issues relating to education and training and clinical research
  • Providing expert support and engage in joint projects which add value to the activities of constituent groups e.g. the local Chapters, the Specialist Interest Groups; the online community and ACRP’s engagement to serve the trainers’ community.
  • Managing the accreditation of the education and training of third parties and international alliances

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in the life sciences or nursing AND a significant professional qualification in clinical research training or Master’s degree in education.  Clinical research operations’ or compliance experience of at least 10 years, within 2 or more of the following areas: regulatory agency, CRO, pharmaceutical/devices/biologics company; investigator site or university. Should also possess a Mastery of drug development science, clinical research practices and US clinical research regulations, and intimate knowledge of how the clinical research industry operates. This experience should in addition include a minimum of 5 years in clinical research training and the management of the provision of training
